321 Swipe
Processor markup

Monthly minimum

On a statement: MONTHLY MINIMUM ADJ.

A floor on the processor's fees: if your markup for the month comes in under (say) $25, they charge the difference. Irrelevant in a busy month, painful in a slow winter or if you keep a second account you barely use. Read the fine print — some minimums count only the processor's markup, so you can be charged one even in a month with sales.

What a fair version looks like

$0–$25 a month, and it should be waived once your volume is established.

What 321 Swipe would do

We negotiate it out, and close 'backup' accounts that exist only to generate minimums.
