Batch header fee

On a statement: BATCH FEE

Charged each time your terminal or software 'closes the batch' — sends the day's transactions in for settlement. Twenty years ago that involved a phone line; today it is an automated file. Some processors still charge $0.25–$0.35 per batch, which is a small line that exists mostly because nobody questions it.

What a fair version looks like

$0–$0.10 per batch. Many processors have eliminated it.

What 321 Swipe would do

We have it removed, and check that your system isn't batching several times a day for no reason.

See it on a statement

On our sample statement this line is $5.50 (22 batches × $0.25).

Is this on your statement?

Send it and we'll tell you — along with everything else on there that shouldn't be. A phone photo of the fee page is enough.
